Junior IT and Helpdesk Support Engineer required to join our progressive technology solutions company in Hampshire. There is a possibility to travel throughout the UK on certain projects. 

Monday to Friday

Working alongside our Senior Engineer, and with some engagement with the senior management team, this role will require you to:

  • Provide basic support to end user clients
  • Assist with installation and configuration of new equipment and cloud based services.
Skills Required:
  • Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow specific procedures
  • Good understanding of computer technologies and experience building and configuring Windows PCs and or / servers.
  • Basic Understanding of Cloud technologies
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Good analytical fault finding skills and creative approach to problem solving
  •  Computer literate to a good standard (all Microsoft office applications)

Qualifications Required:
  • A-C grades in GCSE Maths and English or Level 2 Functional Skills
  • IT qualification desirable
The apprenticeship will last for 18 months and will consist of an assessor coming to the work place every 6 weeks to conduct observations and discussions as well as attending virtual classroom sessions for the theory training.
