Westfield Auto Centre began in 1991, our team of uniquely talented technicians to deliver the best quality service for your vehicle. 26 years later, we are one of most well established garage in Hampshire with customers also coming from Sussex, Surrey, and Central London. We are a Shell Helix Service Centre and a Brembo Brakes Specialists.
You will be guided and taught to repair and replace parts on motor vehicles. You will gain an understanding of what is required to work in a professional garage. You will be asked to do small jobs within working hours from time to time such as cleaning. This is so that as a team, we can provide the best possible environment and services for our customers. If you are enthusiastic to learn about working within a professional environment at the highest standard, this is the place for you to become a professional motor vehicle technician.
The successful candidate will ideally have some experience working on vehicles but this is not essential. A passion for cars and a willingness to learn and an ambition to become a qualified motor mechanic are essential. 
The apprentice will be punctual and reliable as well as being able to work well as a team. 
The entry requirements for the apprenticeship qualification are A-E/9-2 in GCSE Maths and English or Functional Skills Level 1. 
The apprenticeship will consist of working with the employer 4 days a week and 1 day a week in college. An assessor from Highbury College will visit the workplace every 6 weeks to observe the apprentices’ ability and skills intheir daily role. The apprenticeship period will be for 18 months and the final grade will be determined by an 'end point assessment' which will consist of 3 separate assessments: 
  1. Online Knowledge Based Tests.
  2. Skills Test
