Sea-Fire Europe Ltd is part of Sea-Fire, a global leader in boat safety equipment and marine fire suppression technology. They are based in Portsmouth and are leaders in marine safety equipment. 
As a Warehouse Apprentice it will be your responsibility to support the Team Leader in ensuring the operations are conducted safely, on time and to the customers’ requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve high levels of operation and customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
    • Report the effectiveness of warehousing activities to the team leader as required
    • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
    • Ensure shipments’ and customer product requirements are accurate
    • Reclaiming gas from cylinders
    • Assembling pipework
    • Assembling cables and engineering products
    • Ensure job expectations are met
    • Maintain items record, document necessary information as required by the team leader.
    • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

    The entry requirements for the qualification are English and Maths GCSE 9-2/A-E or Functional Skills Level 1. Evidence of these grades MUST be provided in order to progress your application.

    The apprenticeship will last 12 months and will consist of an assessor coming to the workplace every 6 weeks to assist in the completion of the written portfolio work, conduct discussions and observations. Once the apprenticeship has been completed there will be the opportunity to stay on as a permanent member of staff for the right person.
