The apprentice will be responsible for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, prompt response and high quality responses to existing and new customer queries and incident reports. Responsible for ensuring agreed technical support requests are responded to and resolved in line with agreed SLA targets.
The main duties will be:
  • Categorising inbound support requests by priority
  • Handling queries sent in by customers via email and telephone
  • Investigation of in-depth queries on company systems
  • Providing information to customers 
  • Escalation of issues where higher access is required to resolve
  • Keeping customers updated on progress of queries

The successful apprentice will have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Any further knowledge around Cloud based services would be advantageous. 
The apprentice will be willing to learn and have a good work ethic as well as being punctual and reliable. 
The entry qualifications for the role are A-C/9-4 in GCSE Maths and English or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent are essential. A Level 2 IT qualification would be beneficial. 
The apprenticeship qualification lasts for 18 months and will consist of work based learning with an assessor every 6 weeks as well as virtual classroom learning.
