Level 3 Digital Marketer
Autozone
Border of Ladywood and Summerfield - less then 5 minute walk from a 82, 87 and 89 bus stop, 17 minute walk from Jewellery Quarter train station
£4.15 per hour - 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
 
Autozone was established over 20 years ago and we are a leading car parts and accessory provider as well as legitimate road legal number plates. We supply to public and trade customers for cars and light commercial vehicles as well as a van service to local garages, our aim is helping our customers get back on the road as quick as possible!
 
We are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Apprentice to carry out various tasks including marketing campaigns and managing the company's website. As well as the Digital Marketing role you will gain an understanding of stock and car parts as part of the role will involve going into the warehouse. We are open to the public and trade, the majority of sales are via the telephone and counter trade.
This would provide the perfect springboard to an exciting and satisfying career with Social Media and Digital Marketing. We have great mentoring within the company and you will be treated like one of the family.
 
Key objectives of the role are:
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns including blogs
  • Oversee a social media strategy
  • Manage and maintain the company’s website
  • Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts including Facebook, G+ and Twitter
  • Creating content for Instagram and YouTube

  • Experience of Photoshop and blogging would be an advantage but not necessary

Desired qualifications

9-4/A*-C in English, ICT and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2 in all three.

A strong interest in marketing, social media and digital technologies is desirable.

Course breakdown

Formal training usually takes place every 1 to 2 months and learning coaches will also be in regular contact to support learning. The programme runs for 16 months.

Students will be taught using our partner Online Live (OLL) learning platform. This is the same platform used to teach corporates like Dell and Microsoft. The OLL platform gives access to live classrooms and fully functional virtual environments giving the freedom to attend from virtually anywhere.

You will be working towards a Level 3 Standard in Digital Marketing and you will achieve the following qualification.

·        BCS Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Coding

·        BCS Level 3 Certificate in Marketing Principles

·        BCS Level 3 Digital Marketing Business Principles

Further to the qualifications above, you will also achieve the following;

·        MTA HTML 5

·        CIW Site Development Associate

·        CIW Internet Business Associate

·        CIW Social Media

·        Upon completion you can claim membership as an Affiliate (Professional) member of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and/or Associate membership.

Due to being a virtual apprenticeship the training can be completed at home, in the work place or at our college campus in Birmingham in a computer room and would be agreed with the employer. Time spent training will come under the working hours per week.

After successful completion of the apprenticeship Autozone would like to offer you full-time position.
