Apprenticeship/Next Steps

Apprentices build a portfolio of work and work place assessors will be in regular contact to provide support, and to arrange on-site visits to observe the apprentices’ ability and skills in their daily role. It is important for the apprentice to take ownership of their own learning by seeking out opportunities to gain new skills on the job with the employer.  The apprentice’s final grade will be determined by collective performance in the three assessments in the endpoint assessment. To achieve a pass or distinction the apprentice will need to score 60%-79% (pass), 80%+ (Distinction)

The three assessments are:

  • Online Knowledge Based 50 multiple choice questions - 60 minutes (20%)
  • Portfolio Based Interview – 30-45 minutes (40%)
  • Project Improvement Presentation 20-30 minutes (40%)

Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship you can progress to a HNC/HND Business Administration Course, a Team Leading/Supervisor Apprenticeship or an Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship.

Alternatively the apprentice could complete short or bespoke courses to enhance their current skill set and experience. This could lead to further responsibilities or promotions within their workplace.
