The role

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to start their career in marketing in the fitness industry. This is an amazing opportunity for a person who has passion, looking to get into the vibrant and enjoyable fitness industry, and is willing to work hard to achieve the next level of their career.

Your role will include building our profile via social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, as well as exploring other cross channel platforms such as LinkedIn.

At the early stages open discussions within the team will take place to consider the most important area to structure future social media campaigns. Once agreed upon a project task list will be put in place for the apprentice to work from.

Day to day tasks could include, but not limited to, putting together content, whether that be design or script for the weeks posts that are all scheduled in advance. A proportion of the day could be encountering members for member comments/feedback as well as taking pictures and videos of them training (if permission agreed). You will be taught how to target members with the right messages and this will increase your knowledge in the fitness industry.
As we use digital platforms for emailing as well as texting (to members and non-members), part of the day could be utilised in preparation for communications. Communication is vital, whether it be for retention purposes or sales, so you will be taught how to use email and text platforms to help fulfil the digital marketing mix.
We work as a team, so we understand the importance of helping each other achieve targeted end goals in every aspect of running a business, so there will always be support, as well as leadership input.
