It is a Government requirement for you to spend 20% of your apprenticeship working towards your “Off the Job Learning” – off the job learning can consist of college attendance, homework/coursework, project related work, employer training, mentoring, and coaching.

Learning and assessment

Apprentices will work towards gaining the knowledge to pass the multiple-choice knowledge test exam. Working with your employer and your college Lecturer you will be guided on solving a real-world problem at your workplace. This report will form the basis of your Work based project showcase report. Upon completion of your report, you will have a Professional Discussion with an Independent Assessor from the Chartered Institute of Marketing CIM. Your final grade will be determined by collective performance in the assessments in the endpoint assessment.

The assessments are:

  • Online knowledge based multiple choice knowledge test.
  • Work based project showcase
  • Professional discussion presentation underpinned by the project.
